Her key areas of practice cover all issues relating to the protection of trademarks, industrial designs and domain names. Among others Joanna provides brand and design protection strategies, prepares opinions and legal advise on various aspects of trademark and industrial design protection and conducts trademark and design searches. She is also involved in prosecution and litigation proceedings including oppositions and cancellations.
She represents clients in administrative and litigation proceedings before the Polish Patent Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), but is also experienced in handling court-administrative proceedings.
Joanna joined Patpol in 2000 and has been a patent attorney since 2011.
Joanna has been a patent attorney since 2011. She is the holder of a MA degree in economics from the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Lazarski University in Warsaw and has a diploma of Postgraduate Intellectual Property Studies at the Warsaw University. She also completed Postgraduate Studies on the Implementation of Information Technology at the University of Natural Sciences and Humanities in Siedlce.
She is a member of INTA and ECTA.
