Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs – Accession of Poland
On July 2, 2009, the Geneva Act (1999) of the Hague Agreement concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs entered into force in respect of Poland. The following declarations were made under the Hague Agreement:
- the declaration concerning deferment of the publication of an industrial design, which is not allowed under the Polish law;
- the declaration concerning the maximum duration of protection of an industrial design, which pursuant to the Polish law is 25 years.
As a result of this, Poland became the 35 Contracting Party to the Geneva Act.
